Press Conference on Federal Funding for Healthcare
On Friday, HAAM CEO Paul Scott participated in a press conference held by U.S. Congressman Lloyd Doggett on how federal legislation will impact enrollment and affordability for healthcare coverage. Held at the Prosper Center, Walter Moreau of Foundation Communities discussed the impact of proposed funding cuts to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and Dr. Kimberly Avila Edwards, George Linial from LeadingAge Texas, Jeff Richardson from Integral Care, and Beth Corbett from Central Texas Food Bank all shared how legislation could impact communities across Central Texas.
