How to Promote Your HAAM Event

Share your fundraiser with your family and friends via social media, email, text, etc.
Create a Facebook Event and add HAAM as co-host (please email ally@myhaam.org once you’ve added HAAM as a co-host).
Tag and @mention HAAM’s social media accounts (@myhaam) on any social posts so we can share with our followers. (And don’t forget to follow us!)
Add @myhaam as a collaborator on your Instagram post. (Note: we can’t guarantee we will accept your invitation, pending our current social media schedule.)

Create a blog about your company fundraiser on your website and include a link to HAAM’s website www.myhaam.org for any mentions of HAAM
Add a web banner to your website and link to your fundraising page

Add a clickable link or graphic to your email signature, or include a banner in your company e-blasts (body or footer) that links to your fundraiser

HAAM’s MISSION

HAAM (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians) is a nonprofit organization that provides access to affordable healthcare to Austin’s low-income, working musicians. Since 2005, HAAM has helped musicians access over $191M in healthcare services, including primary and specialty care, mental, dental, hearing, wellness, and vision services. Each year over 3,100 musicians depend on HAAM’s live saving programs.

HAAM provides access to affordable healthcare for Austin’s low-income, working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness.
Supporting HAAM allows the organization to continue working to keep music in Austin alive and well.
As a cultural staple of our community, live music draws tourists and companies looking to attract a talented workforce. However, most Austin area musicians are adversely affected by this economic boom. , Many play gigs and work multiple jobs, but still struggle to pay inflating costs for food, clothing, rent, and healthcare.
Over 8,000 musicians live in Austin. Half of HAAM musicians make less than $23,700 a year.
A donation of $1,500 helps HAAM cover one musician’s healthcare costs for one year.
For every $100 in donations, HAAM leverages $700 worth of healthcare services through collaboration with providers and partners.
